Jewellery Making Workshops (Deposit + Booking)

TYPES OF WORKSHOPS: 

1. Stacking Ring Workshop 

You’ll make two stacking rings out of sterling silver wire. You’ll learn how to size your ring, file, solder, texturize, and polish. 

Approximately 2.5-3.5 hours (this may vary)

$10 Nonrefundable Deposit (paid now) plus $95 Per Person on the day of workshop. 

2. Gemstone Ring Workshop

You’ll make one gemstone ring with a bezel setting out of sterling silver. You will start by choosing a gemstone and designing your ring. You’ll size and create your ring band and setting using sheet metal and bezel wire. You’ll learn techniqures like stone setting, sewing (sawing), soldering, and polishing. 

Approximately 4-5 hours (this may vary)

$10 Nonrefundable Deposit (paid now) plus $145 Per Person on the day of workshop.

3. Wax Ring Workshop

In this workshop I will teach you techniques on how create a wax ring by carving and using the build up method. You’ll work at your own pace using a blank slate and your own creativity. I’ll explain the process of lost wax casting and how your wax ring will be transformed into a beautiful metal masterpiece! You can decide what metal you’ll have your ring casted in, if you want to add gemstones and how the ring will be finished (high polish or satin). 

You’ll leave your wax ring with me to cast/finish based on your detailed instructions! Pick-up the finished ring in 2 weeks!

What’s included - everything you need to make a wax ring, plus up to 5g of sterling silver or 10g of brass. Quotes can be given for 10-18K gold and additional weight. I will show you examples of rings and their weights. You can periodically check this during the class to make sure you stay within your budget. 

Additional optional costs - gemstones, engravings, 10-18K gold and overage metal weight.

$10 Nonrefundable Deposit (paid now) plus $195 Per Person on the day of workshop.

4. Stamped Necklace Workshop

You’ll choose one sterling silver chain and be given a rectangle of 20 gauge sterling silver sheet metal. You will decide how many round charms plus their size (whatever can fit on the sheet). You’ll hammer the charms out using a punch disc cutter and then learn how to drill through metal, make a jump ring, stamp and polish.

$10 Nonrefundable Deposit (paid now) plus $125 Per Person on the day of workshop.

5. Stamped Ring Band Workshop 

You’ll make one 5mm wide sterling silver stamped ring band. Decorate your band using textures by hammering and/or stamping letters and patterns into the metal. You’ll learn how to size and saw the metal, solder, and polish.

$10 Nonrefundable Deposit (paid now) plus $105 Per Person on the day of workshop.

PLEASE READ!

Pay a $10 nonrefundable deposit to hold your space, this cost does NOT go towards your class payment. Full Payment of the class is due at the beginning of the workshop. 

If you prefer gold we offer a complimentary 14K gold vermeil service. Leave your ring with us and pick up within a week! Gold vermeil is plated rose or yellow gold over sterling silver. It will eventually rub off with wear, exposing the silver colour.

Anyone under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 

You’ll be required to sign a release of liability waiver before starting.
